NOTE: This recipe is optimized for Precision Oven 1.0. If you have a Precision Oven 2.0, we recommend using the Toast Guide included on the oven's touchscreen. There's no need to pull out your toaster oven at breakfast. The Anova Precision Oven can churn out a big (or small) batch of toast with a crisp exterior and tender, chewy interior, all thanks to the use of steam. No dried out crouton-like toast in sight. Notes: This is a cold start recipe, so there is no preheating required. The first stage of the cook will not reach the full target temperature. Don’t worry; that is how the recipe is designed. Be aware that if you begin the recipe while the oven is still warm from another cook, you may burn the toast. If you find that the toast needs more color, you can add an additional 2 to 3 minutes to the first cooking stage.
