These unfussy biscuits are made with dough blitzed together in a food processor and are ready to eat in under 30 minutes. mild cheddar cheese
unsalted butter, chilled
1 cup plus 2 Tbsp
2% milk, divided
1. Preheat the Oven and Prepare Pan
Line a sheet pan with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.

2. Combine Dry Ingredients
Combine the flour, baking powder, sugar, chives, salt, red pepper flakes, garlic powder, and black pepper in a food processor. Pulse to combine.
3. Grate Cheese
Add the grating attachment onto the food professor and grate the cheese directly into the flour mixture.
4. Grate Butter
Grate the butter into the mixture in the same way as the cheese.
5. Add Milk
Remove the grating attachment. Gradually pour 1 cup of the milk through the food processor’s feed tube into the batter, pulsing to combine. The batter will be very thick.
6. Drop Biscuits
Use two spoons to form the batter into 6 large biscuits on the prepared pan.
7. Brush with Milk
Brush the top of each biscuit with the remaining milk.
Transfer to the oven and bake until golden brown, 12 minutes.
