These meatballs are so juicy in the middle and crisp around the edges. Because this recipe uses the steam function of the Anova Precision Oven, the meatballs don't dry out as they cook. Serve them in your favorite pasta sauce with your favorite pasta.

Vegetable oil, for the pan

1. Preheat Oven

Sous Vide Mode: Off
Steam: 30%
Temp: 350°F
Heat: Rear
2. Grease Pan
Line a sheet pan with aluminum foil. Generously grease the foil with vegetable oil.
3. Make Meatballs
In a large bowl, combine the beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, parsley, basil, garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix with your hands to combine.
Roll tablespoonfuls of the mixture into balls. Place on the prepared sheet pan.
4. Bake Meatballs

Place meatballs in oven and bake until crisp around the edges and cooked through, 18 minutes.

Steam: 30%
Temp: 350°F
Heat: Rear

Serve with your favorite pasta sauce on your favorite pasta. I like to let them simmer in marinara sauce for a while then serve them on al dente penne pasta.
