Epic Grilled Cheese

The Anova Precision Oven is a game changer for grilled cheese sandwiches. The combination of high heat and a little steam means the cheese is melty and the bread is both soft *and* crispy. On its own, this recipe is pretty epic with bacon and pepper jelly, but it’s really more of a base recipe with room for options. Sometimes we like to add kimchi and a fried egg, or even some candied jalapeños. Note: You can cook the bacon in the Anova Precision Oven, if you’d like. Follow the Bacon 101 recipe. After further testing, this recipe has been updated to a hotter oven and a touch more steam. Thank you to the #anovafoodnerd community for these suggested tweaks!
