Steamed Cheeseburger Sliders

If you’ve never had steamed cheeseburgers, you’re in for a treat, especially when they’re made in the Anova Precision Oven. Rich, flavorful ground chuck patties get a long slow steam to medium-rare on top of a bed of softened onions, then get topped with melty American cheese, a pickle, and mustard-sliced buns. All of these components then get a chance to meld together in the oven for several minutes before being served. It’s like the best fast food cheeseburger you’ve ever had, but without having to leave the house.
The American cheese and yellow mustard evoke authentic fast food flavor, but if you’d like to change it up, you can certainly use deli slices of cheddar cheese and a spicier Dijon mustard instead.
