This sous vide corn on the cob is slathered with miso-honey butter, sesame seeds, togarashi, and scallions for sweet, savory, and spicy flavors all in one dish. Ingredients
8 ears
fresh corn, husked
6 Tbsp
unsalted butter, at room temperature
2 tsp
red miso paste
1.5 tsp
honey, plus more for serving, if desired
¼ tsp
togarashi
¼ tsp
sesame oil

scallion, thinly sliced
1 tsp
toasted sesame seeds
Steps

1. Preheat the Oven and Prep Pan

Line a sheet pan with aluminum foil.
Sous Vide Mode: On
Steam: 100%
Temp: 183°F
Heat: Rear

2. Place Corn on Rack

Evenly space the corn on one of the oven racks.

3. Cook Corn

Rack
Place the rack with the corn in the third position and the foil-lined sheet pan on a second rack in the lowest position. Cook until the corn is tender, 20 minutes.

4. Make Miso-Honey Butter

While corn cooks, combine the butter, miso, honey, togarashi, and sesame oil in a medium bowl. Stir well until smooth. Set aside.

5. Add Butter

Brush the hot corn with the miso-honey butter.

6. Garnish and Serve

Transfer to a serving platter and top with the scallion and sesame seeds. Drizzle with extra honey, if desired, and serve.
