2. Brown Butter
In a small saucepan over medium-low heat, melt the butter. Once the butter has melted, start stirring it frequently with a rubber spatula to keep the milk solids from sticking to the bottom of the saucepan.
Cook, stirring, until the milk solids turn a nice golden brown, 5 to 7 minutes. Remove from the heat, transfer to a heatproof bowl, and let cool.
