Thanks to steam and sous vide mode in the Anova Precision Oven, these perfect lentils are truly a set it and forget it dish. No need to watch the stove or worry about overcooking and splitting. This recipe uses a gentle cook to ensure that the lentils are cooked but keep their shape and rigidity, making them perfect for salads or lightly simmering in soups.

Ingredients
1 lb
dried French lentils, rinsed
4 cups
chicken stock or water
Steps

1. Preheat the Oven

Rack
Sous Vide Mode: On
Steam: 100%
Temp: 190°F
Heat: Rear

2. Combine Lentils and Stock

Combine the lentils and stock in a deep baking dish.

3. Cook

Transfer to the oven and cook until tender, about 1 hour.

4. Serve
