Olive Oil Flavor Infusion 101

This method of adding a variety of flavors to your olive oil in the Anova Precision Oven sous vide mode allows you to create multiple flavors in one cook. The infusion process takes only an hour instead of days, making small batches easy (and therefore keeping the flavor impact- not letting it degrade over time).
Remember, excess heat can make flavors disappear, so use flavored olive oils as more of a “finishing oil” over vegetables, pasta, or as a dipping sauce with bread.
