Frozen dumplings and the Anova Precision Oven are a match made in smart kitchen heaven. The APO’s variable steam function is a game-changer for our favorite convenience food and this method yields dumplings that are perfectly steamy on the inside and tender on the outside — whether you’re cooking pork-filled potstickers or shrimp shumai.  Note: Thanks to some excellent user suggestions, we've updated this recipe to use 195°F (90°C) with Sous Vide Mode turned on.

Arrange the dumplings on a parchment- or silicone mat-lined sheet pan (don’t overcrowd it) and cook until hot, about 12 minutes. Serve immediately. If you're finding the tops of the dumpling wrappers to be dry, cover the dumplings with an oven-safe baking dish or bowl to act as a lid. You can also steam the dumplings in a covered bamboo steamer basket.
